I was searching for Gluten Free restaruants in Austin, TX in my ever evolving - and invariably hiccuping - mission to eventually become vegan/raw/gluten free. I get on the band wagon regularly, but find that the time I'm staying on it decreases with every attempt. I need simple solutions that aren't boring or make me feel as if I can no longer *enjoy* the majority of my food again. No, bigger than that...I need to be able to eat without having to take a magnifying glass to everything I eat, save for a handful of pre-screened items that quickly loose their luster. I stumbled on to a couple of interesting places, one of which I've heard about several times before but have never patronized; The Daily Juice. While scanning their site, I saw a video on the lower left that had information regarding Juice Feasting. Lord knows I've heard about juice fasting, but not Juice FEASTING. This video wasn't magic, but it lead me to the author's website (listed below) which has some how managed to rekindle my motivation to really take my eating habits up a notch (or three). I think a juice of kale, celery, apples and carrots is on the menu for later this week! ;-) I'm going to invest in the juicing recipes listed on the referenced web site and will be sure to share my experiences along the way. I think this is going to be an awesome adventure! Should I set a target start date of next week? I believe I shall... Tootles! Selena
